Katherine founded the Weber Firm in 2012, after spending 12 years representing credit unions and CUSO's in various capacities. She understands the unique needs of credit unions, and with almost two decades of experience, Katherine has developed an expertise in all matters relating to Credit Unions. Katherine has spent the majority of her legal career assisting Credit Unions and their subsidiaries which has provided her with an extensive understanding of the specialized needs of credit unions.
Katherine represents a wide range of credit unions, from small local credit unions to larger multi-billion dollar credit unions. Her representation varies from special counsel, to serving in a capacity equivalent to outside general counsel. Katherine also represents CUSO's ranging in purpose from those offering back office support, to those creating member solutions for their credit union clients. She offers personalized services and well reasoned advice, developed from years of experience, coupled with an intricate knowledge of the ever changing rules and regulations governing this industry. She has presented for various credit union trade associations, organizations and leagues throughout the country.
After graduating with a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and a law degree from the New England School of Law, Katherine returned to her roots in the Philadelphia area where she lives and practices. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Delaware County Bar Association.
Katherine is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the States of New Jersey and Connecticut.
Katherine's commitment to non-profit community based organizations extends into her personal life as she serves on the board for the Rocky Run YMCA and volunteers for other community non-profit organizations.

Elisa has been associated with the Weber Firm since 2014. Elisa began her legal career at the law firm of Blank Rome where she was a commercial litigator. She has significant experience in both federal and state court. She concentrated her practice in both municipal and healthcare law, and was involved with regulatory compliance. Elisa was associated with Blank Rome for eight years before she was elected in 2003 as a Magisterial District Judge in Haverford Township, Pennsylvania where she presided until January, 2022. She is an adjunct professor at Widener University, Delaware Law School.
Since joining the Weber firm, Elisa has assisted clients in the areas of contract formation, review and modification, and has engaged in multiple 50 state research surveys related to regulatory compliance issues involving Credit Unions. She stays abreast of current issues impacting credit unions.
A Philadelphia native, Elisa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, and a Law degree from Temple University School of Law. She is a member of the Delaware County Bar Association, and the Delaware County Magisterial District Judge Association, and is a former board member of the Delaware County Women’s Commission. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is admitted to Eastern and Western District Courts of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Elisa has also completed various Mediation and Conflict Resolution training programs, and often lectures to various student and community groups on current issues in the law.

The Weber Firm, LLC is a boutique law firm with a national practice focusing on the representation of credit unions and CUSOs. The firm's founder, Katherine Weber, has been representing credit unions and CUSOs for over seventeen years. The firm maintains a close watch on the pulse of the credit union industry through ongoing contact with regulators, leagues and associations, as well as credit union vendors. The firm represents clients in matters such as CUSO formation, offering nontraditional financial products, loan participation agreements, business lending/services and compliance, regulatory advocacy, contract negotiation and due diligence. The founder of the firm has been a frequent presenter at various credit union conferences.
